Atlético Pinamar's Pascual Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Pinamar from getting a goal against them. Pascual Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Timo in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Iago to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Leopardi Team got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Benvide. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes Reynaldo Vachon shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Leopoldo Montay when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. A collision led to Atlético Pinamar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Reynaldo Vachon hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Manzano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Montay. That made the score 3-1 in the 57 minute of play. In the 62nd minute Celso Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Manzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Iago in the 71st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético Pinamar's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Iago came free, but Pascual Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopardi Team's Leopoldo Montay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Leopardi Team from getting a goal against them. Atlético Pinamar's Pascual Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Gonzalez in the 87th minute of play. Atlético Pinamar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
