Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) In the 3rd minute, Vicente Isidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mario Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Rastrojos's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Uzuri came free, but Ulises Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Francho charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Francho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Rastrojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Francho to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Mario Oliverio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rastrojos's Ulises Hunfredo. Ulises Hunfredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulises Hunfredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Uzuri went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Timoteo Maties came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rastrojos's Mariano Malvin. But to his dismay, Mariano Malvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bernardo Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Maties having to interfere. If Bernardo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tucson's Luisito Laurin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mariano Malvin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Timoteo Maties skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Bernardo Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Serafino Colon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rastrojos and the Sporting Tucson players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Rastrojos got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Colon. Luisito Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Hunfredo having to interfere. Sporting Tucson's Zacarias Pedroso suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. Celestino Laurgain's late challenge caught a Sporting Tucson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Laurgain helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rastrojos's Celestino Laurgain got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Tucson's zone, Bernardo Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Maties came out of the goal and Bernardo Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 minutes, Honorato Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rastrojos and the Sporting Tucson players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Rastrojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Manny to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Bernardo Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Timoteo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ulises Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Tucson's Timoteo Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Malvin in the 88th minute of play. Mario Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luisito Laurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Rastrojos's Ulises Hunfredo got control of the ball when Luisito Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Sporting Tucson players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
