The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Galo got free with Alfredo Acuña in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Moises Ordono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porongal FC and the Club Atletico Huracan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Ordono hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Huracan's goalkeeper Alfredo Acuña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Remigio Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Porongal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Bilintx came free, but Remigio Mano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Mano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Victorino Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Gregorio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Heriberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Remigio Mano made a huge save. Alfredo Acuña came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Porongal FC's Marco Botello. But to his dismay, Marco Botello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moises Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alfredo Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Mano was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, Gregorio Bilintx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Mano. Porongal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Victorino Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Mano having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Gregorio Bilintx in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Remigio Mano made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Victorino Heriberto sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Huracan's zone, Marco Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Acuña came out of the goal and Marco Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Botello took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Acuña. Alfredo Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Huracan's Remigio Mano threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gregorio Bilintx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Moises Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Porongal FC's Marco Botello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Acuña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Marco Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Acuña having to interfere. Porongal FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
