Pablo Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Montay having to interfere. Timoteo Maties made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Celso Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Iago in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Maties prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Paolo Iago fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Gonzalez got free with Timoteo Maties in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Sporting Tucson got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Laurin. Paolo Iago might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Maties. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Iago ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes Paolo Iago rounded Sporting Tucson's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. 85 minutes into the game, Leopardi Team's Paolo Iago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopardi Team played a much better game than Sporting Tucson and deserved their victory. The Sporting Tucson players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
