Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nonogasta's Amadeo Oxel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gaspar Tolino fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Merlo's protests and gave Gaspar Tolino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Gaspar Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Oxel charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Oxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amadeo Oxel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Deportivo Merlo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laureano Ospin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 10th minute Amadeo Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Amadeo Oxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo Oxel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Rafael Ponce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Ponce came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Nonogasta's Rolando Guzman. But to his dismay, Rolando Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rolando Guzman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Amadeo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Nonogasta booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Oxel in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Deportivo Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Nonogasta's Amadeo Oxel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Deportivo Merlo's Rafael Ponce got control of the ball when Laureano Ospin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amadeo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ponce having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Natalio Rios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Ponce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Merlo's zone, Amadeo Oxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Ponce came out of the goal and Amadeo Oxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Oxel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Guzman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Julian Jurgi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Beltran in the 57th minute. Teobaldo Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Julian Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Merlo's Rafael Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Ospin in the 64th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Urbano Enol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nonogasta and the Deportivo Merlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ponce having to interfere. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Amadeo Oxel sped through Deportivo Merlo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Ponce. Julian Jurgi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Beat's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Amadeo Oxel might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Oxel ran back to his position shaking his head. Amadeo Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rafael Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Oxel in the 94th minute of play forced Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Rafael Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Deportivo Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Lando. Nonogasta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
