If Moises Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Porongal FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fermin Sabino hit a great ball. Villafañe's Ruben Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Galo in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Moises Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porongal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Galo in the 36th minute of play forced Villafañe's goalkeeper Ruben Enaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Porongal FC's Marco Botello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Enaut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteve Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Remigio Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Norino to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Esteve Norino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moises Ordono hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Prudencio Luar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Mano having to make a save. If Esteve Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villafañe's Prudencio Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Nestor Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porongal FC and the Villafañe players grew even worse after the yellow card.
