If Marco Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Sabino charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Sabino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Fermin Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Porongal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Transito came free, but Remigio Mano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bartolo Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Ramiro Cordeal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Mano. Porongal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Cordeal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Botello to strike the kick off in the second half. Remigio Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cordeal in the 59th minute of play. Bartolo Transito's late challenge caught a Porongal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Transito helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Porongal FC booed when Suplentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 65th minute of the match Fermin Sabino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fermin Sabino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fermin Sabino hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Bartolo Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suplentes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cesar Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porongal FC's protests and gave Cesar Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Porongal FC's Marco Botello got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bartolo Transito struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Remigio Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suplentes. After 75 minutes, Marco Botello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porongal FC and the Suplentes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Suplentes booed when Porongal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Botello didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bartolo Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Moises Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
