Ulises Hunfredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Argenis's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Celedonio Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Romeo Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Rios in the 39th minute of play. Nestor Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes Encrucijada got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Argenis. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Ascencio was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rastrojos's goalkeeper Ulises Hunfredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Unax. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Malvin in the 75th minute of play forced Encrucijada's goalkeeper Romeo Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Encrucijada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Unax to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nestor Unax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encrucijada's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Unax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Hunfredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Encrucijada booed when Rastrojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Paulo Ur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Bartoleme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rastrojos reached it. Encrucijada's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
