In the 13th minute Roberto Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Edgard Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Tercero came out of the goal and Edgard Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, CG Titan's Edgard Regis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Tercero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Silverio Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tercero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Constantino Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, CG Titan's Edgard Regis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Tercero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Boca Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CG Titan were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Xabat was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Tercero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Abecia went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, CG Titan's Edgard Regis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddy Tercero. Freddy Tercero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 73rd minute Honorio Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tercero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Jerico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Esteve Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Roberto Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Roberto Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Xabat couldn't finish the play. Luisito Ilixo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Abecia got free with Freddy Tercero in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Silverio Abecia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Tercero. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silverio Abecia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7.
