With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Basualdo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Estevon saved eel trebol from getting behind. After having played for 21 minutes, Jaime Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. eel trebol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Godoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rodrigo Criston hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justo Quintun was the one to do the kick off.
