If Honorio Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Honorio Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARVEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute of the match, Baldomero Alfonso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Freddy Tercero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herminio Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantino Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Domingo Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Honorio Perrando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Tercero. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Tercero should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Lisandro Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Perrando made a kick off. Constantino Benitez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Jerico to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Perrando came free, but Freddy Tercero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Herminio Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARVEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Tercero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Honorio Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Tercero came out of the goal and Honorio Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Tercero having to interfere. In the 85th minute Baldomero Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tercero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Roberto Xabat got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Honorio Perrando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Tercero was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, MARVEL's Aristides Gonchan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Suarez got free with Domingo Cisco in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, MARVEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MARVEL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boca Juniors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
