Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Baldomero Rubio got the match started through his kick off. Humberto Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Arias went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Baldomero Rubio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Deportivo Futbol Rosario's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guampacha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Cipriano Cordeal scored to the left of an out of position Denis Jeraldo, making the score, 1-1. If Elpidio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Hegoi in the 18th minute of play forced Deportivo Futbol Rosario's goalkeeper Humberto Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Guampacha's Serafino Hegoi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Elpidio Cordera hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Deportivo Futbol Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Cordera. In the 34th minute Carolo Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cipriano Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Cordera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Cipriano Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Futbol Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Arias to make the kick off. The supporters of Guampacha booed when Deportivo Futbol Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Camilo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guampacha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Futbol Rosario the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Futbol Rosario booed when Guampacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Humberto Ponc made a huge save. Deportivo Futbol Rosario's Humberto Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Futbol Rosario from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Deportivo Futbol Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Arias came free, but Humberto Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Futbol Rosario's Humberto Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Futbol Rosario from getting a goal against them. Humberto Ponc came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Guampacha's Camilo Arias. But to his dismay, Camilo Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Humberto Ponc acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Jakobe. Cipriano Cordeal struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Denis Jeraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Futbol Rosario. If Elpidio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Buinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Humberto Ponc made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Buinton got free with Humberto Ponc in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guampacha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
