If Cipriano Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los PiRatAS F.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Futbol Rosario the free kick. In the 17th minute, Augusto Cugat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Los PiRatAS F.c booed when Deportivo Futbol Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Elpidio Cordera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Egoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Humberto Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cugat, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Humberto Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pepillo in the 31st minute of play. Cipriano Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Egoi having to interfere. If Ermegildo Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Los PiRatAS F.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Futbol Rosario were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd match minute, Deportivo Futbol Rosario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Cordera to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Kinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo Futbol Rosario's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Hats came free, but Humberto Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Hats in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Ponc saved Deportivo Futbol Rosario from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Pero during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Futbol Rosario getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Esteve Pero hit a great ball. Humberto Ponc came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Los PiRatAS F.c's Ceferino Hats. But to his dismay, Ceferino Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Los PiRatAS F.c's Vicente Kinsen got a free kick in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Evelio Gil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los PiRatAS F.c's Guaberto Egoi did a great save. When Elpidio Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Deportivo Futbol Rosario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Cordera couldn't finish the play. Humberto Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Futbol Rosario walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
