Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacobo Fidele started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Gregorio Chaime hit a great ball. Salvador Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Gonzo having to interfere. Jorge Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Etxepare charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Etxepare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Marco Etxepare. In the 21st minute, Salvador Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Humberto Huly cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jorge Gonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Humberto Huly came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Olavarria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Huly couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Basualdo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Gonzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Chaime during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Olavarria FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gregorio Chaime was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Victor Otsoa hit a great ball. If Jacobo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Basualdo made a kick off. The supporters of Olavarria FC booed when Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Janpier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Saul Eufemio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Justin. Salvador Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jorge Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Manilan's late challenge caught a Olavarria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Manilan helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeo Manilan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Olavarria FC's Salvador Basualdo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almagro's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Almagro booed when Olavarria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Basualdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute Salvador Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Almagro's Jorge Gonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Basualdo in the 73rd minute of play. Jacobo Fidele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Eufemio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Jorge Gonzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Jorge Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Huly in the 88th minute of the match. Saul Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Gonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Huly went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Olavarria FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
