Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgard Regis got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match, Silverio Abecia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domingo Cisco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herminio Lucado during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes MARVEL got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Lucado. Herminio Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Edgard Regis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Domingo Cisco. Edgard Regis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Honorio Gorbea fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CG Titan's protests and gave Honorio Gorbea a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes CG Titan got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Gorbea. After a defensive mix-up in CG Titan's zone, Herminio Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Matei came out of the goal and Herminio Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Herminio Lucado made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Matei. CG Titan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Herminio Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Matei having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Herminio Lucado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Matei. CG Titan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Lucado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 34th minute, MARVEL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edgard Regis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of MARVEL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CG Titan:s goal. Luisito Ilixo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Edgard Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Cisco having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Silverio Abecia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CG Titan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Perrando made a kick off. Baldomero Alfonso's late challenge caught a CG Titan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Alfonso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Baldomero Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Edgard Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Perrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ildefonso Gregory hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Herminio Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Matei having to interfere. Esteve Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Perrando in the 65th minute of play. If Herminio Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Lucado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Esteve Matei made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Lucado got free with Esteve Matei in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Matei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herminio Lucado went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When Herminio Lucado came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the MARVEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Lucado couldn't finish the play. MARVEL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
