The player immediately received a yellow card. Anier Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Araoz in the 6th minute of the match. Anier Aurken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Mogel's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Encrucijada got a freekick which was hit by Omar Urti. Albino Napier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Paulo Petrigai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 13th match minute, Encrucijada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Urti to maneuver through the defense. If Gavino Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nayi's zone, Gavino Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Aurken came out of the goal and Gavino Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Nayi's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Araoz came free, but Anier Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Gavino Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Rufo scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Aurken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Gavino Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Ulises Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encrucijada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Rufo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Nayi defense, Gavino Araoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Aurken. The Nayi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Aurken should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Sergio Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Anier Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Rufo made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Maximiliano Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nayi and the Encrucijada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Nayi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Erruki to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Nayi's goalkeeper Anier Aurken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Araoz. Sixto Gomez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Ulises Rufo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anier Aurken. Ulises Rufo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 71 minutes into the match, Nayi's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Rufo came free, but Anier Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maximiliano Erruki was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 73rd match minute, Nayi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Erruki to maneuver through the defense. Encrucijada's Gavino Araoz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Encrucijada booed when Nayi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Encrucijada were awarded a corner. Omar Urti went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Encrucijada's Omar Urti to fire away a dangerous shot which Anier Aurken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Nayi defense, Gavino Araoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Aurken. The Nayi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Aurken should have stopped the shot. Generoso Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Albino Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nayi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encrucijada the free kick. Ulises Rufo succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Ulises Rufo took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Aurken. Anier Aurken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Encrucijada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
