In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pachurro's goalkeeper Anibal Quinito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 12 in the game by Gilberto Ederono from a close distance when the talented Javier Erramu managed to make a qualified save. ★MERLUZA★'s players were relieved. ★MERLUZA★'s Teofilo Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Deportivo Pachurro getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Venancio Lluques hit a great ball. If Teofilo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the game, Eliseo Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Pachurro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★MERLUZA★ the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Deportivo Pachurro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Nalo to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Ortle, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gilberto Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Javier Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Quinito having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, ★MERLUZA★'s goalkeeper Javier Erramu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Cordarrol. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Obano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Quinito was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Obano to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ★MERLUZA★ booed when Deportivo Pachurro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Evangelista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Anibal Quinito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teofilo Obano struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Anibal Quinito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★MERLUZA★. Damian Millan's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pachurro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Millan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Pachurro booed when ★MERLUZA★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Pachurro's Freddy Damario tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ★MERLUZA★'s Nemesio Pirmin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Silvestre Cordarrol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilberto Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Cordarrol struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Javier Erramu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pachurro. When Silvestre Cordarrol came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Deportivo Pachurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Cordarrol couldn't finish the play. Javier Erramu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Cordarrol's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Gilberto Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Deportivo Pachurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Ederono couldn't finish the play. Javier Erramu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Ederono in the 95th minute of the match. Gilberto Ederono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the ★MERLUZA★ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Pachurro.
