The tension between the Club Atletico Talleres and the Encrucijada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Alejo Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Cuartio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Gavino Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Araoz couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Omero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Araoz in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Encrucijada's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Rozarius came free, but Paulo Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gilberto Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encrucijada's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Mogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Rami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilberto Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gavino Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jeronimo Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Club Atletico Talleres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Encrucijada were winning 0-2.

After having played for 52 minutes, Gilberto Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encrucijada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Encrucijada booed when Club Atletico Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Rami made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Sixto Gomez sent off a good shot on target. Gavino Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jeronimo Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
