Roberto Balendins short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Anier Aurken to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elvio Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Erruki hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Anier Aurken made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Elvio Perez sent off a good shot on target. The Azucena fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Azucena's Roberto Balendin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Albino Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Severino Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maximiliano Erruki fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nayi's protests and gave Maximiliano Erruki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Nayi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Erruki to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Azucena's Octavio Aureo tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Egoi in the 24th minute of play forced Azucena's goalkeeper Severino Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anier Aurken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Saturnino Kemen charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Kemen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Azucena got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Kemen. Albino Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Argenis having to interfere. Nayi's Generoso Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azucena's goalkeeper Severino Argenis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Azucena's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Egoi came free, but Severino Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Severino Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Egoi in the 41st minute of play forced Azucena's goalkeeper Severino Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Azucena's Elvio Perez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Generoso Egoi made a kick off. Albino Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Anier Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Iaki in the 57th minute of play. Anier Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Perez in the 58th minute of the match. Roberto Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Nayi's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Balendin came free, but Anier Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Aurken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Anier Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Perez in the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Nayi getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Maximiliano Erruki hit a great ball. Azucena's Roberto Balendin suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Godofredo Ixidor fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nayi's protests and gave Godofredo Ixidor a yellow card for diving instead. Generoso Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Argenis having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Azucena got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Maraman. 81 minutes into the match, Nayi's Albino Napier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Argenis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Generoso Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Azucena's goalkeeper Severino Argenis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Napier. Maximiliano Erruki was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nayi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Azucena.
