Genaro Uxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Jorrin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Huyamampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Jorrin couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Victorino Quentin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GonzalexFC's Antonio Ekialde. Antonio Ekialde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Quentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Victorino Quentin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Antonio Ekialde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huyamampa. After 42 minutes, Bruno Ponciano made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. GonzalexFC's Antonio Ekialde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The GonzalexFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huyamampa were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Ponciano was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Uxio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Raphael's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute.
