Isaac Fiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeronimo Rami came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Fiz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Estebano in the 24th minute of play forced Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Eusebio Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's Lisandro Rozarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Geofredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusebio Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Estebano's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Tobatirenda's Eusebio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Rozarius in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Saul Maiorga took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jeronimo Rami to make any attempt to save it. When Maximo Baleren fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tobatirenda's protests and gave Maximo Baleren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Tobatirenda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Baleren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Nabar got free with Jeronimo Rami in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atletico Talleres's Jeronimo Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Maiorga in the 44th minute of play. Tobatirenda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
