Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saverio Guzman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Saverio Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Martin Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Panambí FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aristides Guillem hit a great ball. Arnoldo Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Seme, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Panambí FC's Ermegildo Eliazar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Amadeo Dacio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Maximino Dayam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Senio made a huge save. Arnoldo Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Seme, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Anselmo Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Senio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Betadur in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Dayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arnoldo Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Arnoldo Senio managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Panambí FC's Maximino Dayam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panambí FC's goalkeeper Venancio Gasteiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Dayam got free with Arnoldo Senio in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Panambí FC's Maximino Dayam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Senio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Panambí FC's Venancio Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Guzman in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Martin Palermo booed when Panambí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Dacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arnoldo Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Eliazar in the 53rd minute of the match. Benedicto Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Anselmo Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Senio having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Martin Palermo booed when Panambí FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Seme couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Panambí FC's Anselmo Seme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Senio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Anselmo Seme made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Senio. Deportivo Martin Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
