The coaching staff of Tosno AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cléber Souto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, one of Tosno AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tosno AFC. Vítor Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lertxun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tosno AFC's Higinio Madaleno got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Fidele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Alves struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Isaac Lertxun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tosno AFC. In the 40th minute, Vítor Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Fidele made a kick off.
