Spectators: 7358 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorio Barto started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ceferino Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Paris San Fernet's Victorio Barto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Senio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnoldo Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Senio having to interfere. Arnoldo Senio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Barto in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Guzman in the 23rd minute of play forced Paris San Fernet's goalkeeper Pablo Qwinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Martin Palermo's Arnoldo Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Txaran in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ceferino Betadur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Qwinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Paris San Fernet's Arnoldo Senio threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesar Txaran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Benedicto Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Gar's late challenge caught a Deportivo Martin Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saverio Gar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paris San Fernet getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Saverio Gar hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Deportivo Martin Palermo's Amadeo Dacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Qwinton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Martin Palermo reached it. Victorio Barto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Senio made a huge save. In the 40th minute, David Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 minutes of play, Paris San Fernet's Victorio Barto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Senio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Cesar Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Deportivo Martin Palermo defense, Victorio Barto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Senio. The Deportivo Martin Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Senio should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Guzman made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Victorio Barto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Martin Palermo's Arnoldo Senio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Txaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Senio having to make a save. Victorio Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arnoldo Senio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute of the match, Ceferino Betadur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pablo Qwinton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Cesar Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Txaran took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Senio. Arnoldo Senio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 69 minutes into the match, Deportivo Martin Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Barto came free, but Arnoldo Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Senio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Paris San Fernet's Cesar Txaran. But to his dismay, Cesar Txaran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Deportivo Martin Palermo's Arnoldo Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Barto in the 74th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Cesar Txaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Senio. Deportivo Martin Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Txaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After having played for 92 minutes, Cesar Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris San Fernet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Txaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Martin Palermo's Arnoldo Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Barto in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paris San Fernet fully deserved thier win.
