An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Gai in the 17th minute of play forced Jobson 's goalkeeper Fabio Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Mosconi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Fe came free, but Fermin Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mosconi FC's Benedicto Restu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Edgard Lorenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mosconi FC's Fermin Eguen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Lorenz in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Bruno Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Bruno Socorro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jobson 's Fabio Maule did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Miguel Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosconi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Gai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Maule having to interfere. Edgard Lorenz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Mosconi FC's Fermin Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Lorenz in the 45th minute of play. Miguel Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Eguen having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Gai to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jobson 's Miguel Fe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Eguen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Jobson defense, Carlos Baldovino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Maule. The Jobson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Maule should have stopped the shot. When Benedicto Restu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mosconi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Restu couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Jobson got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Romo. After having played for 69 minutes, Benedicto Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mosconi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mosconi FC booed when Jobson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mosconi FC's Bruno Socorro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jobson . The audience was convinced that Benedicto Restu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Maule was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to Jobson getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fabian Gomesano hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Miguel Gai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mosconi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Edgard Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mosconi FC's zone, Miguel Fe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Eguen came out of the goal and Miguel Fe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Jobson booed when Mosconi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Mosconi FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Carlos Baldovino hit a great ball. Jobson 's Baltasar Amaya couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mosconi FC. Edgard Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fermin Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Maule having to interfere. Erasmo Txerran's late challenge caught a Mosconi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Txerran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Erasmo Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jobson players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mosconi FC.
