The supporters of Elvira AFC booed when Carnerito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Gaspard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Ubendu in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Roque Pedroso made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Elvira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Bladi. In the 61st minute, Angel Ubelteso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Azubeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rigoberto Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amancio Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Elvira AFC's Nemesio Ubendu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Rubio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nemesio Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amancio Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rigoberto Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
