Miguel Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Jakue having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Chipaite AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto George to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Mederi in the 35th minute of play forced Chipaite AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chipaite AFC booed when Jobson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chipaite AFC's Leandro Gonchan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jobson . Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Fermin Banegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Maule was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jobson 's goalkeeper Fabio Maule, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The tension between the Jobson and the Chipaite AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jobson getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Edgard Lorenz hit a great ball. Rogelio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Lorenz in the 72nd minute. Leandro Gonchan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Maule. Jobson 's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
