In the 5th minute, Vladimiro Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Cordario came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Solca's Geronimo Chan. But to his dismay, Geronimo Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Paulino Herrera struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Melchor Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solca. Geronimo Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Cordario having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Paulino Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solca and the Martinco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Solca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Herrera to maneuver through the defense. When Solca's Geronimo Chan in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Martinco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solca's Hugo Oriol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Solca from getting a goal against them. Melchor Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Herrera in the 36th minute of the match. If Geronimo Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martinco FC's Melchor Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Chan in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Carlos Che got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Che struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Solca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Martinco FC:s goal. 72 minutes into the game, Carlos Che cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Melchor Cordario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Cordario having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Geronimo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Martinco FC's zone, Paulino Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Cordario came out of the goal and Paulino Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 99thth minute of the game Geronimo Chan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martinco FC's Melchor Cordario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Solca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
