Seating: 100, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvestre Lizer kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Llorian in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Etxeberri saved Linch from getting behind. Diego Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Llorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Linch getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gualterio Brais hit a great ball. Silvestre Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Linch's Silvestre Lizer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Paez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Silvestre Lizer came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Linch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Lizer couldn't finish the play. Diego Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of BOKE booed when Linch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Dantel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Paez having to interfere. Linch's Diego Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Llorian in the 26th minute of play. Diego Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Garoa in the 29th minute of play. Armando Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Dalmacio Fiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Silvestre Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Paez having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Claudio Dantel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Zeledon Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Etxeberri having to interfere. Sergio Llorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Zeledon Frisco made the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Armando Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Claudio Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linch's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BOKE's Armando Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Dantel in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Zeledon Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Frisco struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Diego Etxeberri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOKE. If Mateo Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 76th minute of the match. Armando Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Dantel in the 78th minute of the match. Claudio Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Armando Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Lizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Paez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestre Lizer ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87 minutes of play, Linch's Claudio Dantel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Rius hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Linch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
