The TIBURON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Lia should have stopped the shot. Luis Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 8th minute of the match. Pastor Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Pastor Iaki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Fiz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Lázaro Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOKE's Armando Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Lázaro Cerilo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Paez. Lázaro Cerilo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. TIBURON's Lázaro Cerilo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BOKE's zone, Santo Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Paez came out of the goal and Santo Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
