Melchor Cordario made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sergio Llorian sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Policarpio in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sergio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Policarpio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Paez having to make a save. Martinco FC's Teofilo Qwinton got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Policarpio in the 32nd minute of play forced BOKE's goalkeeper Armando Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BOKE's Armando Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Qwinton in the 38th minute of play. Ruben Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Armando Paez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martinco FC. The BOKE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martinco FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Frisco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 53rd minute of play. Sergio Llorian struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Melchor Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOKE. Martinco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, BOKE's Moises Garoa got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Ruben Policarpio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Paez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
