The Frizze Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernardo Bibiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Qwinton went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Qwinton got free with Bernardo Bibiano in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laureano Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Burni in the 39th minute of play forced Martinco FC's goalkeeper Melchor Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martinco FC's Guillermo Fernanco has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
