Frizze Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Bibiano was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Sergio Llorian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergio Llorian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Sergio Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Dalmacio Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOKE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Fiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Mano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Paez was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Frizze Blue's zone, Sergio Llorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Bibiano came out of the goal and Sergio Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonatan Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, BOKE's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Burni came free, but Armando Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Laureano Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes BOKE got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Fiz. Armando Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Columbo in the 43rd minute of the match. Zeledon Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bibiano having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Sebastian Mano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frizze Blue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOKE the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Frizze Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Mano to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Burni to make the kick off. Laureano Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Delmiro Gomez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Paez. The goal made the score 2-1. After a rather tough play, Frizze Blue's Sebastian Mano got a free kick in the 62nd minute. BOKE's Sergio Llorian got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bibiano having to interfere. The supporters of BOKE booed when Frizze Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Frisco in the 87th minute of play. Armando Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Burni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Columbo in the 94th minute. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frizze Blue's goalkeeper Bernardo Bibiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frizze Blue's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
