The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20th minute Aristides Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Emanuele Battisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gergely Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Tocala y Picá's Aristides Baristo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Aristides Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Etxeberri came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tocala y Picá's Candido Javiar. But to his dismay, Candido Javiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Linch's Prudencio Garoa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Diego Etxeberri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Patricio Aureo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Baristo made a kick off. Abel Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Diego Etxeberri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tocala y Picá's Gergely Tóth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Lizer in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Linch's zone, Aristides Baristo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Etxeberri came out of the goal and Aristides Baristo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Garoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gergely Tóth made a huge save. Abel Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linch's Silvestre Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Etxeberri having to interfere. Diego Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Lluc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
