Eliseo Oso came out of the goal and Mateo Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes, Ricardo Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIBURON and the MAXIMUS FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Sasoin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lázaro Cerilo's late challenge caught a MAXIMUS FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Mateo Maties fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eliseo Oso, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Cerilo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Oso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Atarratze stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
