A collision led to Linch getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Claudio Dantel hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Linch fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Diego Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Mingo in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Linch got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Garoa. Vox's Ricardo Maju shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diego Etxeberri but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Dantel in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquiles Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Lizer in the 20th minute of play forced Vox's goalkeeper Aquiles Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Lizer in the 24th minute of play. Diego Etxeberri made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Natalio Sandalio sent off a good shot on target. Silvestre Lizer took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Astudillo. Aquiles Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Claudio Dantel fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linch's protests and gave Claudio Dantel a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Geronimo Rius in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vox's Humberto Mingo. 45 minutes in the game Lino Lorencio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Natalio Sandalio. Aquiles Astudillo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Linch's Claudio Dantel. But to his dismay, Claudio Dantel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Bela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Benito Matro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linch and the Vox players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Lorencio during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vox fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Geronimo Rius hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Bruno Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Silvestre Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Lizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vox's Aquiles Astudillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Dantel in the 70th minute of play. Silvestre Lizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Bruno Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Linch got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Rius. Humberto Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Etxeberri having to interfere. Aquiles Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Dantel went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Humberto Mingo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Ricardo Maju fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vox's protests and gave Ricardo Maju a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th minute, Ricardo Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linch played a much better game than Vox and deserved their victory. The Vox players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
