Aquiles Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Mikelats in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Vox's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Abaunza came free, but Aquiles Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Belgrano Cba got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Rico. Anastasio Donostia charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Donostia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vox's Eugenio Markel got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Atilano Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano Cba's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Vox fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Vox's Aquiles Astudillo got control of the ball when Artemio Mikelats tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Belgrano Cba booed when Vox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Mingo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Artemio Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano Cba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Mikelats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Atilano Abaunza took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aquiles Astudillo to make any attempt to save it. Guillermo Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Bela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Markel's late challenge caught a Belgrano Cba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Markel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belgrano Cba booed when Vox was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Atilano Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano Cba's protests and gave Atilano Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Belgrano Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Abaunza to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Belgrano Cba defense, Natalio Sandalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Hodei. The Belgrano Cba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Hodei should have stopped the shot. In the 78thth minute of the game Bruno Bela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano Cba's Guillermo Hodei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Maju struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Guillermo Hodei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vox. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Bela in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Hodei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 minutes, Natalio Sandalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vox and the Belgrano Cba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vox getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Natalio Sandalio hit a great ball. Aquiles Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Abaunza in the 88th minute of the match. Guillermo Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bruno Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Sandalio struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Guillermo Hodei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vox. If Eugenio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vox fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgrano Cba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
