Augusto Jaunti hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Pastor Iaki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Astudillo skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th match minute, Vox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Markel to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Lázaro Cerilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TIBURON fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 25 played minutes TIBURON got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Iaki. If Humberto Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, TIBURON's Cleto Botello got a free kick in the 27th minute. Aquiles Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Cerilo in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Vox getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Severo Bero hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Humberto Mingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vox fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Aquiles Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Cerilo in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vox's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pastor Iaki was slow to take the kick. During this time TIBURON's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to TIBURON's Ricardo Sasoin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Lázaro Cerilo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vox's Aquiles Astudillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Cerilo to make the kick off. Vox's Aquiles Astudillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Vox from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, TIBURON's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Mingo came free, but Luis Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Cerilo in the 76th minute of play forced Vox's goalkeeper Aquiles Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Cerilo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Santo Quilino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Astudillo.
