Samaniego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferri the free kick. The supporters of Ferri booed when Samaniego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferri's Salvador Eusko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adan Unax. That made the score 2-2 after 32 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Cipriano Eladio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Samaniego FC's Adan Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Samaniego FC from getting a goal against them. When Serafino Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samaniego FC's protests and gave Serafino Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. Cornelio Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Unax having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

In the 95th minute of the match Ferri got a corner. Samaniego FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Bastiaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ferri's Leandro Bastiaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adan Unax in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 97th minute, Jeremias Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
