Atalaya FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Freddy Abeita scored to the left of an out of position Luisito Asier, making the score, 2-0. If Freddy Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Atalaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Rolado to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Atalaya FC's goalkeeper Luisito Asier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Tercero. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Rolado made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, La Cumbancha Volante's Gonzalo Perrando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gonzalo Perrando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Cumbancha Volante protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gonzalo Perrando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Cumbancha Volante fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Atalaya FC's Reynaldo Jerico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. Teobaldo Ponc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Leandro Txurio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Rolado in the 78th minute of play forced La Cumbancha Volante's goalkeeper Leandro Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Cumbancha Volante's zone, Matias Rolado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Txurio came out of the goal and Matias Rolado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Larra in the 83rd minute of play forced Atalaya FC's goalkeeper Luisito Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Freddy Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Cumbancha Volante's Leandro Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Rolado in the 91st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, La Cumbancha Volante's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Rolado came free, but Leandro Txurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Cumbancha Volante's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
