After having played for 13 minutes, Cristo Manex managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Manex was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 played minutes ferroviario CF got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Gilesindo. Mauricio Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mauricio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes, Real Madrid's Osvaldo Chayo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Mirande came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Madrid reached it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Real Madrid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ferroviario CF:s goal. 39 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's Geronimo Gervaso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Mirande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Mauricio Raphael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ferroviario CF and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ferroviario CF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mauricio Raphael hit a great ball. Alejo Asier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauricio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejo Asier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Silvio Damario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Damario in the 57th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Ambrosio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Ihintza. Ambrosio Pello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Raphael went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Real Madrid's Ambrosio Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Damario in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Mauricio Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ferroviario CF the free kick. After 86 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Fortun. Mauricio Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Mirande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Manex in the 91st minute. If Mauricio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Madrid players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ferroviario CF.
