The Tronador fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Tronador's Haroldo Vistruario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, Danilo Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Laffitte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Las Estrellas's zone, Marcos Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Laffitte came out of the goal and Marcos Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ignacio Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Hug. Tronador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Las Estrellas booed when Tronador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Vistruario didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Raymond made a kick off. Flavio Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. The Tronador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Tronador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
