Ambrosio Pello came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by La Cumbancha Volante's Freddy Abeita. But to his dismay, Freddy Abeita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 25 minutes, Marcelo Elorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cumbancha Volante and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Cumbancha Volante! The goalkeeper, Leandro Txurio, was totally fooled by Real Madrid's Geronimo Gervaso, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Freddy Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Adolfo Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes La Cumbancha Volante got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Lehoi. A collision led to La Cumbancha Volante getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marcelo Elorri hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Cristo Manex got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

La Cumbancha Volante's Freddy Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Feliberto Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, La Cumbancha Volante's Freddy Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Larra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Pello was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Eustaquio Fortun's late challenge caught a La Cumbancha Volante's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Fortun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Eustaquio Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ambrosio Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Larras short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ambrosio Pello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goalkeeper Ambrosio Pello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Abeita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Larra in the 78th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Ambrosio Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, La Cumbancha Volante's Freddy Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Larra in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Freddy Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Freddy Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Ambrosio Pello managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when La Cumbancha Volante's Adolfo Larra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Freddy Abeita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Pello made a huge save.
