Silvano Godoy came out of the goal and Diego Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, J S Mastropiero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. When Rosetti FC's Jacobo Berasko in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye J S Mastropiero FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ladislao Urbasa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rosetti FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Baldomiro Napier hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Gines got free with Silvano Godoy in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 23 minutes, Diego Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosetti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Nicholas having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Apolo Urtats's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Nicholas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Apolo Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Benjamin Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosetti FC and the J S Mastropiero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 40 minutes, Alonzo Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Berasko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Apolo Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Anier Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rosetti FC's Santo Gines got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Urtats in the 73rd minute of play forced Rosetti FC's goalkeeper Anier Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, J S Mastropiero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Felipillo came free, but Silvano Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Apolo Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot. J S Mastropiero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Urtats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Alonzo Millan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, J S Mastropiero FC's Apolo Urtats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. J S Mastropiero FC's Silvano Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Berasko in the 89th minute of play. Silvano Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Felipillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jacobo Berasko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Godoy having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
