The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquiles Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Aquiles Ireno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Ignado went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alejandro Azibar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pantanillo's zone, Gilberto Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Ireno came out of the goal and Gilberto Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Evaristo Niguel came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pantanillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Niguel couldn't finish the play. Nicanor Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Niguel in the 32nd minute of play forced Mañana Le Digo's goalkeeper Eugenio Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Baraquiel hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Gilberto Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Pantanillo's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Baraquiel came free, but Aquiles Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pantanillo's Francisco Gorka got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Nicanor Cesaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aquiles Ireno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Jatsu made a kick off. Evaristo Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Nicanor Cesaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mañana Le Digo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Inocencio Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aquiles Ireno came out and tried to block the shot, but Inocencio Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. Eugenio Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Jatsu in the 67th minute of the match. Eugenio Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Niguel in the 73rd minute of play. If Alejo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Serafin Baraquiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mañana Le Digo played a much better game than Pantanillo and deserved their victory. The Pantanillo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
