The Pantanillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Ireno should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Balasi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alejo Jatsu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Aquiles Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pantanillo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Francisco Gorka hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ledesma in the 40th minute of play forced Pantanillo's goalkeeper Aquiles Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Ledesma took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Ireno. Aquiles Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Ledesma was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Ledesma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aquiles Ireno made a huge save. Pantanillo's Aquiles Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Brun in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Pantanillo's goalkeeper Aquiles Ireno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Ledesma.
