When Angelino Urdaspal fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canque AFC's protests and gave Angelino Urdaspal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Canque AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nogalito AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Jobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Canque AFC's Honorato Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Angelino Urdaspal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nogalito AFC's Genaro Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Bernat in the 14th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Nogalito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oroitz. 17 minutes into the match, Canque AFC's Alejandro Bernat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alejandro Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canque AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Jobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicasio Sotero's late challenge caught a Canque AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Sotero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute of the match Nunez Gorri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Jobo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Eduino in the 26th minute of play forced Nogalito AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Canque AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Nisio came free, but Vinicio Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canque AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Americo Oxel was slow to take the kick. During this time Nogalito AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Canque AFC's goalie and right to Nicasio Sotero. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Canque AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd minute, Nicasio Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Oroitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Darien having to interfere. If Nicasio Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canque AFC's Vinicio Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Nisio in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Ceferino Nisio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nogalito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Nisio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Darien having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Nisio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Canque AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Felipe Pacorro hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Ceferino Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Narciso Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nogalito AFC's Genaro Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Eduino in the 58th minute of play. Vinicio Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Nisio in the 59th minute of the match. If Ceferino Nisio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Nogalito AFC's Ceferino Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Canque AFC's Honorato Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Nisio in the 77th minute of play. Nogalito AFC's Genaro Jobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Nogalito AFC from getting a goal against them. Honorato Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Genaro Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nogalito AFC's Ricardo Oroitz got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Honorato Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canque AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Eduino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
