Fabian Gorbea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Cordeal in the 10th minute of play forced Belén FC's goalkeeper Astor Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Belén FC's Astor Dayam got control of the ball when Saverio Inge tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético General Levalle's Celedonio Lixandro got a free kick in the 15th minute. Paolo Firman, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Atlético General Levalle getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Victor Luken hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Benjamin Cebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Belén FC's goalkeeper Astor Dayam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Inge. After 25 minutes, Victor Ubendu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belén FC and the Atlético General Levalle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Belén FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Ubendu. Fabian Gorbea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Pello, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Benjamin Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Saverio Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Cordeal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Dayam saved Belén FC from getting behind. Saverio Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Pello to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético General Levalle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute, Saturnino Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Victor Luken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético General Levalle and the Belén FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlético General Levalle's Victor Luken got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Belén FC's Iker Pello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 76 played minutes Atlético General Levalle got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Cordeal. 78 minutes into the match, Belén FC's Iker Pello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Gorbea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Saturnino Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Victor Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético General Levalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Dayam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Belén FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belén FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
