Guillermo Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Lehen scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Tiadoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, C.A. COLON's goalkeeper Sixto Eneko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Txomin. C.A. COLON's Sixto Eneko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Miro in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bela in the 18th minute of play forced C.A. COLON's goalkeeper Sixto Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Paulino Bela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Eneko came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Empalme FC's Guillermo Txomin. But to his dismay, Guillermo Txomin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Paulino Bela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Eneko was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Empalme FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niceto Elequemedo in the 26th minute. Empalme FC's Elvio Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Lehen in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Lehen was the one to do the kick off. Though ot was a great shot Empalme FC's keeper Elvio Tiadoro was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Sixto Eneko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Txomin in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bela in the 86th minute of play forced C.A. In the 88th minute Paulino Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Empalme FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Empalme FC's Honorato Miro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulino Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Empalme FC fully deserved thier win.
