Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Norberto Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Rumaldo in the 25th minute of play. Ismael Banegas's late challenge caught a WISGOTHS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Ovidio Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorato Rumaldo made a kick off. WISGOTHS's Juan Vargas suffered a concussion in the 52nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ismael Banegas was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 53 played minutes Mulcahy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Banegas. Augusto Rosalio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Delmar Ariando firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ovidio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mulcahy AFC's Augusto Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Elvio Tiadoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulcahy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WISGOTHS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mulcahy AFC's Elvio Tiadoro got a free kick in the 91st minute. WISGOTHS's Pedro Quirze got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
